Katie first began working in makeup while pursuing a degree in Fine Arts, and used this medium for income as well as a creative outlet. Her knowledge, creativity, experience and professionalism have lead her to work with celebrities, in fashion, film, print, runway, special effects, television and theater. In 2011 she was nominated for her first Emmy, for the make up for HBO's live recording of the Pee Wee Herman Show on Broadway. 

Her work has appeared in American Salon, Elle, ESPN, Make-Up Artist Magazine, Nylon, Self, and Time Out New York. Advertising clients include Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, Make Up For Ever, Target, and Sephora. She currently resides in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
